Relax and enjoy the many recreational activities in and around Schwäbisch Gmünd! For your health and fitness we offer among other things: an indoor swimming pool, an action Water Park with a giant slide, and a 'barefoot path.' 'Kneipp baths' and of course bike and walking tracks are also available. Popular hiking and excursion destinations are the 'Drei-Kaiser' mountains – 'Stuifen, Rechberg and Hohenstaufen' and the 'Kalte Feld' which has a landing strip for gliders nearby. Or would you prefer to go the cinema? No problem: The Cinema Center in Preifergässle offers the best cinema entertainment.

Families with children will also find great activities such as the "Naturatum"- an educational forest adventure, the Rechberg ruins, a nature high-wire garden near Weilerstoffel, city and museum tours especially for kids and a children's workshop in the silverware factory Ott Pauser.
